Anyone Can Learn to Paint a Small Canvas

This is a class for beginner students as well as those who are more experienced. A wide range of subject matter will be explored alongside an overview of ways to use acrylic and on canvas. We will be working on a small scale canvas.

Please bring 2x 15cm x15cm (6’’x6’’) canvas, 2 fine round brushes and one flat brush, Phthalo blue, white, cadmium yellow, ultramarine blue, magenta and burnt sienna or yellow umber, student quality acrylic paint, Pencil, paper and a cloth.

About Our Tutor: Jull McIntosh

Jill is an artist who studied Fine Arts, majoring in Printmaking at the University of Canterbury. She finished with an Honours year and later returned to Elam School of Fine Arts where she completed her Masters of Fine Arts in 2007. Jill set up the Print workshop at the Wellington Arts Centre and edited Contemporary New Zealand Prints.
