Creative Writing: Flash Fiction in Five Senses

Master the art of storytelling brevity through sensory exploration.

In this 8-week creative writing course, award-winning writer and musician Ronnie Pankova-Karadjova guides you through the art of flash fiction—compact stories under 1,000 words—with a focus on sensory detail and craft elements. You’ll explore how sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch can shape narrative and tell what remains untold. Through writing prompts, analysis, and discussions you’ll learn to craft stories that linger long after the last word.

No prior experience needed—just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to tell a story. Suitable for beginners and advanced writers, give it a go!

  • Tuesdays, 6pm - 7.30pm

  • Start date: 14 October

  • Course length: 8 weeks

  • Cost: $190

  • Tutor: Ronnie Pankova-Karadjova
