The Village Square Trust manages Parnell Community Centre on behalf of Auckland Council and provides a range of services to people of all ages in the community.

what do we do?

community classes

Each term we offer over 40 classes and workshops, led by knowledgeable and experienced tutors.

social activities

We organise a number of weekly social activity groups for our community members, offering a safe and fun environment to make like-minded friends.

venue hire

You'll always get a great deal on venue hire at the iconic Jubilee Building in Parnell. Centrally located with free parking and easy to access from motorways into Auckland.

markets

Parnell Farmers’ Market is held in the carpark each Saturday morning from 8am-12pm, and Craft Harvest market is in the Jubilee Hall on the fourth Saturday of the month.

community services

We have a JP service desk every Monday and Wednesday from 12-2pm. In the Jubilee Building you’ll also find Parnell Library and Parnell Plunket.

heritage walks

The Village Square runs a full programme of guided walks during the annual Auckland Heritage Festival, touring historic Auckland central sites and suburbs.
