Monday Mah Jong Group (Full)

Enjoy this fascinating traditional Chinese board game on a Monday afternoon.
All levels are welcome, however we do not teach the game (beginners are welcome to observe).

NZ History Discussion Club

History Club: Discussion and Fellowship
Join us on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, to explore the early and colonial history of Aotearoa New Zealand. Whether you're a hobbyist or a historian, everyone is welcome to engage in lively, respectful discussions while enjoying good company and a cuppa. The club will recommence on January 28, 2025.
This is a community-led club focused solely on New Zealand history, where participants have the opportunity to present a short talk on a historical topic of interest. After each presentation, the floor opens for discussion.
This is a unique opportunity to look at our history as a collective, diving deeper into its complexities and various perspectives to better understand our nation's founding. We value tolerance and respect, especially when discussing sensitive topics about our shared history. Everyone's voice is important, and thoughtful, respectful dialogue is essential for meaningful exploration.

Step Out Walking Group

Be motivated, socialise and explore the neighbourhood as you step out with other enthusiastic walkers. The group steps out in all weathers and usually finishes their morning walk at a local cafe.

Parnell Community Art Group

Taking art classes? Join the Art Group during term breaks and continue your projects with a cuppa. Drop in session.

- Wednesdays, 10am - 3pm
- $5 per session

Parnell Community Bridge Club

Our popular social Bridge group now has more than 90 members, with around 50 meeting every Friday afternoon in the Jubilee Building. Players of all levels are welcomed and partners for players can be arranged if needed. Includes afternoon tea.

- Fridays, 1-4pm
- $8 per session

A $15 annual fee, payable in January or on joining, covers your membership to all social activities at Parnell Community Centre during that year, except Toastmasters and U3A. Once you're a member, you only pay a small per session fee ($3-$8) for each activity you attend.

New members are always welcome and you may join at any time!

Auckland Share Traders Social

Auckland Share Traders Social meetings are held at Parnell Community Centre on the third Thursday of every month, from 5-7pm. This group is for anyone who invest in and trade financial securities mostly in foreign markets such as US, Aus and Europe. This group is for you to meet like minded people who have no conflict of interest, aren't selling training, and are not selling research or services - you may join forces with others, but primarily you want to meet people who have a different outlook and ambition to most with a common language of investing in and trading stocks and other instruments.

Two Toastmasters groups meet regularly at Parnell Community Centre.

Daybreak Toastmasters: Every second Wednesday 6.45-8.20am

Parnell U3A

Parnell U3A meetings are held in the Parnell Community Centre on the third Wednesday of each month, 9.30-11.30am for presentations, lectures and morning tea.

In addition, there are Special Interest group meetings throughout the month. Membership is for those over 55 years and the annual membership fee is $45.
