Monica Leach is a Deaf educator and NZSL advocate based in Auckland, with over ten years of experience teaching New Zealand Sign Language. She is a qualified and registered NZSL teacher (NZSLTA) with a BA (Hons) in Deaf Studies and Education from the UK. Now a member of the NZSL Board, Monica is dedicated to promoting NZSL and supporting the Deaf community. Through her business, SignWest, she offers engaging NZSL courses, workshops, and one-on-one sessions that encourage inclusive communication and a deeper understanding of Deaf culture
