Our Heritage Festival walks were a complete sell-out, with community members turning out in force to discover the stories behind some of our local landmarks and neighbourhoods. Bringing together history lovers, long-time residents, and curious newcomers alike, the walks offered a fascinating glimpse into the people and places that have shaped our community.

Following a postponed opening, the new Maungawhau Market made its debut on 4 October with a fantastic turnout and a vibrant community atmosphere. Visitors enjoyed local crafts, food, produce, and handmade goods, proving that sometimes the best beginnings are worth waiting for.
